All educational programs have been accredited by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NAOKO) for a period of 5 years.
An analysis of the implementation of the OP at the department showed that the qualitative indicator of staffing corresponds to the standard established by the license, the indicator of scientific settlement is above 50%.
The faculty of the department is represented by the following candidates of economic sciences: Isakov G.Zh., Tastanbekova K.N., Sarsenova A.E., Dzhunisbekova T.A. and others, PhD Kuatbekov Zh.A. iNurgabylov M.N. Teacher Onlasinova A. is studying for doctoral studies.
The faculty of the department is constantly working on the development of educational programs, participation in scientific competitions, publication of scientific articles, professional development, etc. In the 2022-2023 academic year, all educational programs have been successfully updated in the register of educational programs. In 2023-2024, participation in the competition of scientific projects through the Ministry of National Research of the Republic of Kazakhstan was carried out. Faculty members of the department J. Kuatbekov, M. Nurgabylov, K. Tastanbekova, A. Sarsenova are regularly published in journals included in the Scopus international citation database.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, the faculty of the department participated in a joint project of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
In the 2021-2022 academic year, under the Bolashak program, Murat Nurgabylov, a PhD lecturer, completed an internship abroad at the Varna Free University.The Brave Black Sheep. (Certificate No. 290 for participation in the program "Economics and Leadership in Higher Education Management").
Laureates of the award of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The best university teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan" J. Kuatbekov (2019), K. Tastanbekova (2009), A. Sarsenova (2009), S. Tazhibaev (2007) and others work at the department.
Teaching staff and students are actively exploring the global educational platform Coursera.
Namelbek Azamat Namelbekovich, a student of the Faculty of Public Administration and Local Government, won a grant in the competition for the award of the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant.

Professional development
The teaching staff of the department are constantly working to improve their professional qualifications. Almost every teacher of the department annually improves their qualifications at various professional courses, seminars, and trainings. In the 2017-2018 academic year, teaching staff attended seminars, trainings, courses, and master classes and received 35 certificates, in the 2018-2019 academic year - 20 certificates, in the 2019-2020 academic year – 28 certificates, in the 2020-2021 academic year – more than 25 certificates. Special attention is paid to the study of English, advanced training courses on innovative teaching methods and advanced training in specialized disciplines. A number of disciplines are taught by teachers in English.

A bachelor's degree in the 6B04101 - Economics educational program must have a set of special theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to solving economic and organizational problems, using modern technologies, information processing, and decision-making in a dynamically changing external environment.
Have sufficient theoretical training to solve practical tasks and problems in non-standard situations, conditions of uncertainty and risk. A bachelor's degree should be practically prepared for creative, active professional and social activities, high-quality performance of practical tasks within the framework of economic and other managerial functions, have a theoretical understanding of the basics of production organization, the patterns of development of society, the economic behavior of people, in the process of production, distribution, exchange and consumption of material goods and services.
Bachelors in the educational programs 6B04104 – State and Local Government and 6B04105 - Management: Human Resource Management have all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for qualified work as managers for managing the economy and its industries. Bachelors in this educational program carry out managerial activities in various fields of economic and social development of administrative-territorial units (districts, districts, cities, regions) and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Conducts a comparative analysis of indicators characterizing the process of socio-economic development of territories, administrative districts and regions in order to formulate conclusions and proposals for improving administrative and economic mechanisms.
