The Regional Educational and Consulting Center (hereinafter AOKBO, the center) is a structural unit of the Sh. Murtaza International Taraz University, which carries out its work under the supervision of the rector. 

In its work, the center is guided by:

- Decrees of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- The Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", "On Science", the Labor Code, "on combating corruption";

- Orders, instructions, regulations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the President and Rector of the University, local educational authorities;

In order to continuously improve the quality of education, the center has the following functional tasks:

- organization, supervision and management of the formation of the quality of professional educational programs in approved areas and specialties;

- organization of educational and methodical work;

creation of a contingent of students of the center, groups of study groups;

- making proposals on the allocation of admission places funded by the budget in the areas and specialties of the center;

- keep records of students' academic performance and attendance and analyze their results;

- preparation of draft rector's orders on transfer of students to another higher educational institution, expulsion and reinstatement of students, expulsion of specialists, transfer of students from one course to another, from one professional educational program to another, transfer of students to another type of education (budget, paid);

- general management and supervision of students' work practice;

- organization of work to assist in the employment of graduates of the center;
