SHERKHAN MURTAZA UNIVERSITY AWARDED ERASMUS+ KA171 ACADEMIC MOBILITY OPPORTUNITIES

Sherkhan Murtaza University continues to implement its internationalisation strategy by strengthening academic cooperation with Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” (Republic of Bulgaria) under the European Union’s Erasmus+ KA171 programme.

Following the results of the 2026 Erasmus+ KA171 Call, the project submitted by Varna Free University was successfully selected for funding by the European Commission. Under the approved project, Sherkhan Murtaza University has been allocated the following academic mobility opportunities:

- Seven student mobility places for study;

- Two teaching mobility places for academic staff.

In addition, two academic staff members from Varna Free University will undertake teaching mobility at Sherkhan Murtaza University.

The mobility activities will be implemented in the field of 6В06 – Computer Science. Student mobility will last five months, with Erasmus+ financial support covering individual grants and travel expenses. Teaching mobility will be carried out for five working days plus two travel days, in accordance with the Erasmus+ programme regulations.

An open call for the selection of students and academic staff will be announced shortly. Detailed information on the eligibility criteria, application procedure and required documents will be published on the University’s official website.

This initiative reflects Sherkhan Murtaza University’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation, expanding academic mobility and creating new opportunities for students and academic staff to participate in the global academic community.
