Sherkhan Murtaza International Taraz University Holds Talks on Expanding Cooperation with Ankara University’s TÖMER Center

As part of its official working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the delegation of Sherkhan Murtaza International Taraz University held an official meeting at Ankara University’s TÖMER (Turkish and Foreign Languages Research and Application Center), located in Istanbul.

The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation in Turkish language education, expand international educational initiatives, and explore new opportunities for academic partnership.

During the discussions, the parties addressed:

- the development of joint Turkish language education programs;

- opportunities for introducing the internationally recognized TÖMER certification system;

- professional development and training programs for academic staff;

- expansion of academic mobility for students and faculty members;

- implementation of joint educational and research projects.

The parties also discussed the possibility of establishing a TÖMER Language Center at Sherkhan Murtaza International Taraz University and considered potential stages for implementing this initiative. The project is expected to contribute to the development of Turkish language education in accordance with international standards while expanding access to internationally recognized language certification.

Ankara University’s TÖMER is one of Türkiye’s leading educational centers specializing in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. The Center delivers internationally recognized language education programs and maintains active cooperation with universities and educational institutions across the world.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their mutual interest in developing long-term institutional cooperation, implementing joint projects in Turkish language education, exploring opportunities for introducing the TÖMER certification system, and expanding academic exchange programs.

The meeting marked another important step in strengthening the international partnerships of Sherkhan Murtaza International Taraz University and further developing strategic cooperation with leading educational institutions of the Republic of Türkiye.
