Purpose of the department
The purpose of the IOOBD department is the introduction of information technologies into the university's production activities, active participation in the implementation of the Concept of the International Taraz University "Digital University", as well as:
- creation of a unified information space of the University, development and maintenance of the university's corporate network;
- formation of a database of Platonus programs (information about the contingent, the composition of the teaching staff, the material and technical base, etc.);
- entering statistical data on the student population into the database (data on students, graduates): correction of students' data on full-time and distance learning;
- carrying out work on digitizing archived data of graduates of previous years for the period from 2010 to 2021, importing data from the Graduate module into the NOBD database;
- constant monitoring and introduction by the staff of the department of organizational and personnel work on filling in and editing data on the movement of teaching staff and university staff. Together with the staff of the Department for Educational and Methodological Work, carry out work on the following modules: A file cabinet, curricula, study streams, a journal, catalogs of disciplines. Regularly enter data on students' current academic performance;
- using the request of the administrator Platonus (administrator) to generate statistical data for the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat and other structures (information about foreign students, by age, gender, orphans, information about grants, etc.). The work of the admissions committee with applicants is fully translated into the IP "Platonus" - filling data into the database and forming enrollment orders by academic groups, together with the developers of Platonus, the development of sample orders at the request of the admissions committee.
