The purpose of the sector

 

The "Additional Education" sector is a program of additional courses organized with the aim of creating an educational environment of a new format that meets the challenges of the time. The program provides training for bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as advanced training and retraining of personnel, taking into account the specifics of the current stage of development of the society of the younger generation and the silver age at the Sherkhan Murtaza International Taraz University (hereinafter MTU named after Sh. Murtaza). The program is aimed at personal development, the development of learning skills, academic English, digital technology skills for university admission, employment and career growth.

Sector services

 

1. Provides high-quality educational services in the field of improving the level of knowledge of applicants through in-depth study of subjects for further admission to higher education institutions in Kazakhstan;

2. Prepares applicants from among representatives of the foreign Kazakh diaspora for further education in Kazakh and Russian at higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3. Conducts language training for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for further admission to the pedagogical specialties "Biology", "Chemistry", "Physics", "Computer Science" for bachelor's and master's degrees.

List of advanced training courses for the 2023-2024 academic years

The program of additional education includes 4 directions:

1. FOUNDATION EVENING PREPARATORY COURSES;

2. EDUCATION OF THE THIRD AGE "SILVER INSTITUTE";

3. professional development;

4. INFORMAL LEARNING.

The educational process of the sector

 

The schedule of classes is made in accordance with the wishes of the listeners. The number of areas of activity can be supplemented based on the requests and wishes of potential listeners. The formation of groups does not depend on the number of listeners. Forms of classes: lectures, seminars, excursions, trainings. Classes are held in a group form. The format of classes is full-time and distance learning. The academic year of additional preparatory courses is from October 1 to May 1, a Certificate is issued at the end of classes (course). To enroll in additional preparatory courses in accordance with the areas of study, an application is filled out (Appendix B, Appendix D, Appendix E).

Tuition fees

 

Additional preparatory courses are paid, the cost depends on the duration and number of selected subjects. You can enroll in several courses of study. Payment can be made monthly. Classes are conducted in lecture-practical form, in the state and Russian languages by teachers with extensive experience in preparing applicants. Trial testing is regularly conducted to control the students' knowledge.
