An expert panel from the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) will conduct an external audit at International Taraz University named after Sherkhan Murtaza from 12 to 14 October 2026 as part of the institutional accreditation process. During an accreditation visit, the University will welcome members of the expert panel comprising representatives of higher education institutions from Kazakhstan and abroad.
During the three days’ visit, the experts will conduct a comprehensive review of the University’s activities and infrastructure. In particular, they will visit, observe and evaluate academic buildings, sports facilities, research centers and students’ Residence Halls (Dormitory). Following an assessment of the University’s facilities and resources, the experts will evaluate the quality of academic, research activities and student development and social engagement initiatives.
The experts will also meet and conduct interviews with the University’s senior leadership and management teams, professors and teaching staff, bachelor and master students, alumni, employers and representatives of the scientific community.
Institutional accreditation is an important stage that provides an independent assessment of the quality of the University’s activities, enables the university community to review the achievements, and helps determine priorities for further development. For the University community, it represents an important opportunity to demonstrate achievements in academic and scientific spheres as well as to showcase the potential for future development.
